...It feel like a little hideaway on here Rachel :)<br /><br />Reading the post today I felt myself thinking 'can he get away with that?' It didn't take much imagination to work out everyone he was talking about (and I'm sure it's a 'he') - I'm looking forward to the next instalment. Something tells me he got a very real taste of interest from industry people today, so time will tell if that tones down the posts or pumps them up.<br /><br />Like any industry the marketing glitz covers a very real face of the front-line skilled engineer that really knows how this could all shake down when the technology matures and the margins get squeezed. Hopefully this industry will always need highly skilled people. The rush for mass market 3D printing solutions design out the skill and we end up with the reality of raw materials and labour cost, difficult decisions follow and it's all down hill. - But hopefully we have a long journey before all that.<br /><br />And do the general public really care about 3D printing? after all it's not an iPhone... yet.RichRap3Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09348596756294999378noreply@blogger.com
